With funding from the GLASSCO Foundation of Canada, ADRA has constructed 20 schools and 30 health facilities and rehabilitated 5 in Southern Province. Constructed health facilities were also provided with supplies such as blankets and hospital beds.
GLASSCO also focuses on improving access to water for local communities. So far, it has drilled drilled and installed 682 water supply points to communities in Gwembe and Siavonga districts in southern province.
The GLASSCO Foundation project is has been active for the past 10 years and has reached 350,000 people who have benefited through safe water provision, improved maternal health services, improved education and sanitation standards in rural.
