Empowering Change through Knowledge

Silvia Litaba 28 years old, a dedicated employee of LittleSun Zambia, recently participated in a transformative Training of Trainers program organized by ADRA Zambia through the Jersey Breed Focused Development Project. The 2-day intensive training, held from September 30th to October 1st, focused on Clean Milk Production, Mastitis Control, Calf Rearing, and Cattle Feeding.

Through this training, Silvia gained valuable insights and skills that will revolutionize her work and benefit farmers and the company. Key highlights include: effective strategies for feed planning and production, ensuring a stable milk supply even during the dry season. In addition, practical knowledge to combat mastitis, a significant threat to farmers and the company, reducing losses and improving herd health.

“My newfound expertise will have a profound impact, will share her knowledge, empowering farmers to boost productivity and milk quality through addressing key challenges, this training will positively impact LittleSun Zambia’s operations and milk supply chain” Said Silvia proudly.
